Students are invited to shop the racks and receive the one beautiful dress of their choice. Since no look is complete otherwise, everyone will also be able to choose one special accessory without any charge as well.

There are two scheduled locations and dates for this event. The first opportunity will take place at Mantle Realty on Saturday, March 5th 9:00AM to 2:00PM at 206 N. Main Street, Lexington 27292. If you’re unable to attend this one, you will have another opportunity on Saturday, March 12th 9:00AM to 2:00PM at 4035 Premier Dr, Suite 111, High Point, NC 27265.

Mantle Realty shared, “This is a FREE event for all high-school aged girls who are going to a prom this year. Are you taking your girlfriend, BFF, Aunt, Mom, Zendaya? We don’t care. Send them on over and get a dress! Spend your money on a fancy dinner or just save it. We don’t want you to spend your money on a dress you will wear one time.”

Mantle realtor, Lindsay McClain explains the inspiration for the event was to help local students look and feel beautiful for their prom. McClain says, “This is the third year for this event, and it has snowballed from being very small, but quickly turned into a huge event. In 2020 over 500 young ladies received dresses and accessories.”

In preparation for the event, Mantle Realty requests your help. They are currently accepting donations of new and gently used prom dresses and accessories including shoes, bralettes, purses and jewelry. In addition to formal wear, there is also a need for donated, (or borrowed) clothing racks, shoe racks, hangers, dress covers, and a portable dressing room for the event.

Donations are currently being accepted at the three following locations:
