Police arrest suspects in armed robbery at Lexington Family Pharmacy

LEXINGTON, NC – On Tuesday, May 9, Lexington Police Officers responded to a suspected armed robbery attempt at Lexington Family Pharmacy on East Center Street. Witnesses reported that two males in masks with handguns attempted to rob the pharmacy. Shots were fired between an employee and the suspects before the suspects fled the scene. No serious injuries were reported.

Lexington officers located and arrested both suspects in Salisbury, NC. Rowan County Sheriff's Office, Salisbury Police Dept, and Spencer Police Department personnel assisted with the arrest.

Thirty-one-year-old Marcelleus Robinson has been charged with attempted armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

Bryson Moss, 22, has been charged with attempted armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

Both suspects are currently being processed at Davidson County Detention Center. At this time, bond has not been set.
