South Lexington enrolling kindergarteners, taking pre-school apps

South Lexington School is now enrolling Kindergarten students for the 2022-2023 school year.

To enroll at South Lexington for kindergarten you must live in the city limits and your child must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2022.

Please come by the school to pick up an Enrollment Packet and make an appointment for you and your child to attend the “I’m going to Kindergarten” tour. 

Items needed before your child can start school:

• Birth Certificate

• Health Assessment (on or after (August 29, 2021)

• Current Immunization Record

• 2 proofs of address

• ID of parent/guardian enrolling student

• If there are any custody papers the school will need a copy

South Lexington Pre-K is taking applications for the 2022-2023 school year.

Please come by the school to get an application and to set up a screening appointment.

You may also pick up a NC Pre-K application as well. Students must be 4 years old on or by August 31, 2022 for NC Pre-K.
