Tasty Tips with Tamara Cade: Garlic Spinach
Here’s a tasty spin to a side dish favorite.
INGREDIENTS
1 32oz bag of frozen spinach
1 ½ tablespoons of minced garlic
1 small, sweet Onion Diced
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/3 cup of butter
2 boiled eggs (Optional)
DIRECTIONS
In 12” frying pan add olive oil and onions. Allow onions to sweat a little then add garlic.
Once onions are sautéed add spinach. When spinach starts to loosen, add salt and pepper to taste, as well as a pinch of granulated sugar.
Stir all ingredients together then add butter stirring the butter evenly.
Optional: Top with boiled egg
