The Candy Factory: Bench Dedication Ceremony set for June 22

Lexington, NC – Uptown Lexington, Inc. is honored to host a bench dedication ceremony in memory of Robert and Frances Ebelein, who established The Candy Factory in 1979. Robert and Frances played an instrumental role in the rejuvenation of Lexington’s Main Street, and left a legacy that continues to thrive. Jeanne Leonard, Leigh Foster, and Beth Dean, the three children of Robert and Frances, have donated a plaque that will be installed on the bench that sits in front of the iconic Lexington business. Join us as we remember Robert and Frances Ebelein, and celebrate the contribution they made to Lexington’s Main Street.
