United Way Bike Night

On Friday, June 3 the United Way of Davidson County participated in Big Bikes for Vets monthly Bike Night. The event was held at Bull City Ciderworks.

Jack Waters, Executive Director for Big Bikes for Vets organized the event. There was music, slushies, food trucks, burnout contest and a 50/50 raffle that raised money for the United Way of Davidson County.

Kristie Hege, United Way President stated, "We always look forward to this event. It's a wonderful opportunity to bring awareness to our mission. We really appreciate Jack for choosing the United Way as the beneficiary of this months event and to all of the bikers for their support of our raffle."

The United Way currently funds programs for 23 local nonprofits in Davidson County.
