The Thomasville Police and Fire were both presented with a check totaling $18,000 following a golf tournament at Greensboro National Golf Club hosted by "First Responders of the Triad." Thomasville City's Winding Creek Golf Pro, Jason Gentel was able to pull off the tournament win and chose to donate his winnings to two of his own city departments. The check was presented by Thomasville City's Mayor, Raleigh York and Patrick Donnelly, COO of "First Responders of the Triad,' as well as Winding Creek's Golf Pro, Jason Gentel at Monday night's city council meeting. A special thanks to Jason Gentel for choosing Thomasville Police and Fire to donate his winnings and for playing one heck of golf game!   Source:  Thomasville Police Department
