12 Days of Christmas: Local appliance company donates washer to local firefighters
The South Lexington Fire Department, Stations 46 and 47, took a special moment this holiday weekend to express their gratitude to Home and Appliance King for donating a new washing machine.
A representative from the fire department noted that this was the first washing machine they had received. The department dates back to 1958 and has a growing need to clean their uniforms.
The department issued a message of appreciation, stating, "Your thoughtful contribution provides us with a vital resource that will help maintain the cleanliness and readiness of our gear, ultimately ensuring that we can serve our community effectively during emergencies."
Home and Appliance King is a locally owned company located in Lexington, North Carolina.

Your partnership means the world to us and strengthens our ability to protect and serve."
