Grace Episcopal Church will sponsor a community discussion of Bishop Michael Curry’s book, Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times, on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 7:00 in the Parish Hall. All are invited to participate in person or via Zoom.
This one-night-only discussion will be held on Thursday, January 19, at 7 p.m. in Grace Episcopal’s Parish Hall, 419 South Main Street, Lexington. Participation by Zoom will be available. Important note: You don’t have to read the book to attend!
While most are tossing out their Christmas trees and greenery, the parishioners at Grace Episcopal Church have only begun preparing for their annual “Feast of Lights” celebration of Epiphany, which commemorates Christ’s manifestation to the gentiles upon arrival of the Magi delivering gifts to honor the Christ child.
Registration fees are $180 (which includes a t-shirt) for the 12-week fall semester and parents can register their children online through the Arts Academy at Grace website. This week the Lexington Police Department, Dcpl Bookmobile and Arts Academy at Grace hit the road with us.
An Arts Academy at Grace piano student since 2016, she began lessons when she was taking care of her mother, who had Alzheimer’s. Arts Academy at Grace (AAG) is located at Grace Episcopal Church in Lexington, and welcomes people of all ages from throughout the community.
