Commissioners approve funds for Lexington football field and track
A proposal of a total estimated project of $1,572,290 was presented by County Manager Tim Maness with the recommendation to move forward with repairing drainage issues related to the field and track. This includes a synthetic turf component of $434,250 that will be handled by the Lexington School District.

This is the 5th Annual Winter Wonderland Ball for our youth. This is Anything For Our Youth Group, Inc Signature Event. This event is to celebrate our youth for being great kids. Our intent is to give kids in our community an opportunity to dress up in their best and favorite outfits and come out for an evening of fun, delicious food, dancing and winter celebration.
Hometown Hero: Lexington alum gives back to community
The Hometown Gives donated 200 turkeys to Lexington City Schools. The initiative is a partnership between the Cory Holt Foundation, NASCAR driver Austin Dillon and former NFL player Josh Bush.
