Anything For Our Youth Group, and The American Legion – Banks & Miller Post #255 will host its annual Halloween Safe Alternative Event on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This free event is open to youth of all ages and their families.
The event will be held on Saturday December 3, 2022; 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at 119 W 3rd Avenue Event Center Lexington, NC.
The annual Halloween Safe Alternative Youth Party festivities is hosted by Anything For Our Youth Group & American Legion Post #255 (Lexington, NC). This event is intended to provide a safe environment for youth, as well as parents who want their kids to dress up and enjoy Halloween, trick or treating, with safety in mind.
For the third year in a row Anything For Our Youth is gearing up for a Juneteenth celebration set for Saturday, June 18th at 3 pm at Dunbar Park on 4th Street in Lexington. The festivities include a pageant and creative writing contest. The historic walking tour will be led by Tyrone Terry, a local civil rights advocate will lead a community walking tour of the historic area that will begin at 2:30 pm.

On Friday, February 11th at 119 West 3rd Avenue Lexington, NC, a black-tie affair set near the date of his birth will honor his legacy by bringing a little bit of Hughes to Lexington.
This is the 5th Annual Winter Wonderland Ball for our youth. This is Anything For Our Youth Group, Inc Signature Event. This event is to celebrate our youth for being great kids. Our intent is to give kids in our community an opportunity to dress up in their best and favorite outfits and come out for an evening of fun, delicious food, dancing and winter celebration.
On Saturday, June 19, Anything for Our Youth, in collaboration with City of Lexington, Davidson-Davie County Community College, Uptown Lexington, Inc., Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Lexington Visitors Center, will host the event. Admission is free to the public. Food and craft vendors will have select items for sale.
On Saturday, April 3, Anything for Our Youth (AFOY), will be hosting a reimagined “Thump the Yard ‘Egg’ stravaganza” from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. The event will take place at 250 Fairview Dr.
L.O.V.E.’s founder Tina Royal is planning a virtual meeting on March 31 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. An interest form is attached to the group’s social media page.
