On December 17, 2022, members of the Davidson County Fraternal Order of Police(FOP) Lodge #97 conducted its annual “COPS & KIDS CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EVENT,” by taking 28 children Christmas shopping at the Walmart Supercenter,1585 Liberty Drive, Ste. 1, in Thomasville. The Lodge spent approximately $4,000.00 on the purchase of toys and clothes for this event.
City of Lexington offices and buildings will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 26 & Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022 in observance of the Christmas Holiday.
