In October, Chief Martin Daily was named Fire Chief of the Year of the Piedmont Region by the Piedmont NC Firefighter's Association - This qualifies him to be considered for the state-wide Fire Chief of the Year Award. Locally, department members were recognized for their service during their annual service banquet.
