Goose and Monkey Brew House of Lexington is celebrating local entrepreneurs and artisans with their Spring Market Pop Up.
This year the parade is to be held in the Historic District of Thomasville, with the main celebration, the parade, occurring on May 29th starting at 9am. It is to start in downtown Thomasville and end at the Cushwa stadium. But that is only the tip of the iceberg of events to come.
Southwest Elementary Global Academy was one of 300 schools from 36 states across the country to receive a $5,000 grant through the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries. This year, the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries awarded $1.5 million in library grants this year.
The Thomasville Tourism Commission is hosting a free concert at the City’s Historic Finch Field on Friday May 26th . The “Red, White, and Nu-Blu” event will feature country/bluegrass band Nu-Blu playing from 4pm – 6:pm. The first pitch of the HiToms will be thrown at 6:30 and the game will end with festive fireworks!

The Special Olympics NC Dunkin Doughnuts campaign kicks off at Dunkin Doughnuts in Davidson County on May 20th. The campaign runs from May 10-24, 2023. A percentage of their sales between this time goes straight to Special Olympics NC.
