Subsequent to the on-scene investigation, Angie Gibbs and Derrick Garner were arrested and charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny after breaking and Entering. Angie and Derrick were placed into the Davidson County Jail under no bond awaiting first appearance.
Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office Traffic & Criminal Enforcement Unit, assigned to the Special Investigations Division stopped a 2018 Ford Fusion on Interstate 85 South at MM 91, Lexington for a traffic violation. During the course of the stop Detectives arrested and charged the driver, Aaron Deunte Ratliff of Charlotte with possession of counterfeit instrument.
Detectives are looking for a suspect vehicle, a 2011 Lexus IS250, black or dark gray, Georgia license plate CWW3774. If anyone sees the vehicle, do not approach; call 911.
Deputies found several hound dog mix in thin body conditions and one 4-year-old hound mix with an injury to his front leg. It was discovered that this dog had been suffering from an injury for almost two weeks with no medical treatment.
