Winter weather is back again.
A cold weather advisory is in effect for Davidson County and surrounding areas through Wednesday, with overnight lows expected to be near zero degrees.
As part of the response to the cold snap, city crews have already completed checks on all bridges with water utilities connected to them. Additionally, fire crews are surveying vacant buildings to identify any potential leaking water lines that may have been impacted by the freezing conditions. Police officers are patrolling streets to help canvas the area.
Officials say water issues could last a few days during extreme cold. Essential Water Use Guidelines are in place.
