This year’s Barbecue Festival Pre-Pig Shindig Jammin' at the AMP Oct 26, 2023 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Breeden Amphitheater will benefit Pastor’s Pantry funded in part by United Way of Davidson County.
On Wednesday afternoon, October 18, under a bright, sunny sky, five names that are synonymous with Lexington barbecue were added to the Barbecue Wall of Fame.
This year’s campaign will run during the week of October 23rd-29th and feature specials ranging from burgers, sandwiches, chicken, seafood, craft beer and cocktails at participating restaurants, breweries, and bars in participating cities – Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Kernersville, Greensboro, High Point, Jamestown, Asheboro and Davidson County.

On Saturday, May 13th The National Association of Letter Carriers held their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The Salvation Army of Davidson County was contacted earlier that week by the Lexington Post Office and notified that the food drive collection would be designated to their food pantry this year.
